On December 6, it was confirmed that the Irish government will be rising the VAT rate from 21% to 23% from the 1st of January 2012.
It is important that retailers make modifications to their EPOS retail systems and EPOS software in order to ensure that retailers are charging appropriate VAT rates. To assist you in this process, Total Retail Control has created detailed instructions on how to change the VAT rate for several EPOS retail and hospitality systems which are supplied and/or supported by Total Retail Control.
